Pakistan wins World XI | ICC T20


Pakistan climbs the second spot after a victory over the World XI in the latest ICC T20. This is the third time the star-studded World XI 2-1 win at the Gaddafi stadium in Lahore.

The first to lead the T20I format with 125 points is New Zealand who is seconded by Pakistan with 125 points.

The Man of the Series was bagged by Babar Azam and the match has witnessed 21 spots thereby making his career-best sixth position when it comes to ICC T20 batsmen rankings. His mind-blowing scores were 86, 45 and 48 in the three-match series. The 22- year old batsman was the highest run-scorer in the series with 179 runs.

The second highest run-scorer was Ahmed Shehzad who scored 171 runs and got nice spots which made him stay at the 22nd position.

However, Imad Wasim, spinner, maintains the top spot in bowler’s rankings beating Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah.

Shadab Khan secured 32 spots and leaped as the leading teenage leg-spinning sensation by attaining the 66th position in the ranking.

West Indies won the sole T20 clash against England. The match held at Chester-le-street. The second spot was missed by England and it went to the fourth spot while West Indies climbed the third spot after Pakistan. The 51 runs knock by Elvin Lewis, the batsman from West Indies made him reach the third rank for batsmen. This is supposed to be his career’s highest score. The fifth spot was bagged by India and Virat Kohli tops the charts of batsmen ranking.
