Rolls Royce has introduced the eighth generation of Phantom in India with starting price at ₹ 9.50 crores for the same old wheelbase edition. In the meantime, the brand-new Rolls Royce Phantom VIII with the extended wheelbase has been priced from ₹ 11.35 crores (ex-showroom). The first Rolls Royce Phantom VIII makes its way to Chennai and could be introduced in other towns as properly over the next few weeks. The 8th generation Phantom arrives after a period of sixteen years.

The Phantom VIII is equipped with 6.75 liters twin-turbocharged V12 engine which delivers 563hp and 900Nm of torque from just 1,700rpm. It can reach 0-100km/hr in just 5.4 seconds.
The new Phantom series is 30 percent lighter than its predecessors and has a laser light technology providing the 600-meter range of light at night for enhanced safety.
“Pricing in India for the usual wheelbase is Rs 9.50 crore and for the extended wheelbase is Rs eleven.35 crore, consisting of a 4-year service package and regional warranty,” Harris said. The fees have risen substantially post GST and taxation in a budget for all imported CBUs.
