The next-generation tablet of Amazon, Fire HD 10 was announced on Tuesday. The price of it is around Rs.10000. This new tablet ensures a higher screen resolution, increased storage, and good battery life. Alexa support is given to this tablet. The pre-order is also available right now in Amazon’s official site.
Fire HD 10 is said to be “Amazon’s largest tablet” and has a 10.1- inch full HD display. The screen resolution is 1920×1200 pixels. Amazon also says that Alexa will allow users to find music, dim lights, set a timer, play or pause a video.
The General Manager at Amazon Devices, Kevin Keith says, “For less than $150, the all-new Fire HD 10 offers a beautiful 1080p full-HD display, faster performance, more storage, and up to 10 hours of battery life. We’re also excited to introduce Alexa hands-free for the first time on a Fire tablet. Now, you can ask Alexa to play a video, show you your calendar, dim the lights, and much more-using just your voice.”
Fire HD 10 from Amazon has two storage models, 32 GB, and 64 GB. The latter is prices for around Rs. 12,250. A 1.4 GHz quad-core processor is provided to this tablet and this is 30 percent faster than the previous generation Fire tablets. It has 10 hours of battery life along with 2GB of RAM. The external storage can be extended up to 265GB with a microSD card. The front camera is 0.3-megapixels and the rear camera is 2-megapixels.
Dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos audio is also provided. It is completely durable. A known source said, “As measured in tumble tests, Fire HD 10 is more durable than the latest iPad Pro 10.5-inch and costs hundreds of dollars less.”
